Teacher List

Richard Sanders is the Senior Pastor of House of the Lord Fellowship Church in Austin, Texas. This growing ministry has a commission to teach God’s people faith and impact Austin, Texas, the United States, and the world with the message of the Kingdom of God—Kingdom living and sonship.  Prior to Pastoring, Richard and Michelle have served at House of the Lord since February, 1994 as Music Ministers.  Richard served as Assistant Pastor and Executive Pastor under founding Pastor, Jim Lillard.  When Pastor Jim was promoted to his reward in heaven in June of 2018, Richard stepped into the Senior Pastor position. Before coming to House of the Lord, Richard and Michelle each spent years in music ministry, traveling and  leading in praise & worship.  Richard attended Christ for the Nations Bible Institute in Dallas.  Along with other ministers to the Body, Richard is diligent to seek God’s face and receive fresh bread for this church body.  Richard and Michelle have 2 sons, 2 daughters, and 2 sons-in-law, whom they adore.  Kempho, Jared, Katy and Lauren are all involved in their local churches, serving God and making their parents proud.

Pastor Michelle Sanders, shares co-pastoring alongside her husband, Pastor Richard Sanders, at House of the Lord Fellowship Church in Austin, TX.  Michelle has more than 35 years in ministry as a songwriter, Psalmist, Bible teacher and Marriage & Family mentor. She is passionate about seeing God’s Word become life in people’s lives. She and Richard have 4 grown children who are all active in ministry in their local churches.

Brian Rivers has been teaching the word of God for more than 25 years. His heart is to see the truth of God’s word impact and change the lives of people, causing them to grow in Christ and become all God intended them to be.  Brian is a minister at House of the Lord Fellowship Church where he serves as the youth minister, and previously served as the College and Careers teacher and an usher for a number of years.  He’s also the author of Truth and Treasure, a ministry blog that unearths the riches of God’s word with a simple, yet meaningful approach, allowing people to discover God’s word for their world, and has worked professionally in the field of creative services and marketing for many years. Brian graduated from the University of Texas at Austin, where he received a bachelor’s degree in Journalism and was heavily involved in campus ministry – teaching student Bible studies, serving as president of Gamma Phi Delta Christian Fraternity and assistant business manager of Innervisions Gospel Choir, and participating in outreach and street evangelism efforts.

Damon O'Brien has been a minister of House of the Lord Fellowship Church in Austin, TX since 1994. Besides ministering in and to the local assembly, Damon has spoken and ministered at conventions, outreaches, and workshops across the region, state and nation. His ministry emphasis revolves around the areas of God's grace and love and also Kingdom Authority. Damon (aka DJ D-Lite) also wears the role of radio and mobile DJ. He has hosted one of the longest running internet radio mixshow / podcasts in the CHH genre. He is the traveling DJ for Zero Gravity Outreach, an evangelistic ministry that uses extreme sports and music to point people to the Good News of Christ. Damon desires above all to help people understand who they are and help them utilize their gifts for Kingdom of God expansion.  Damon is happily married to his wife over 25 years and has 3 adult daughters.

John Hendricks was called to salvation in 1992 while attending the University of Texas at Austin. He cultivated his relationship and hunger for God by joining Gamma Phi Delta Christian Fraternity that same year. Having a desire to disciple and help youth reach their full potential in God, in 1994 John was hired onto a youth ministry called Kids Across America, a summer camp ministry serving inner city youth from across the nation. He served as counselor from 1994 to 1996. Continuing his studies at the University of Texas in the non-summer months, John continued to grow and seek opportunities on campus to share the light of Christ. He served as Chaplain of Gamma Phi Delta Christian Fraternity from 1996 to 1998 and started a campus bible study called Pump the Word. During this time, he was elevated to leadership at Kids Across America during the summers of 1997 and 1998. John completed his studies at the University of Texas in 1998 with a Bachelor of Arts in Youth and Community Studies and a minor in Business Administration. His heart still towards discipling and maturing youth, John was hired by Urban Impact in 1998 as a High School Coordinator working with inner city youth in the projects of New Orleans, Louisiana. John completed his time in New Orleans in 2001 and returned to Austin, Texas to serve as an Associate Minister at his home church, House of the Lord Fellowship Church. John’s ultimate passion is to turn the hearts of youth and adults to the Lord through spirit-filled preaching of the word of God. He loves to illuminate the Word through meaningful...

Kenneth Price made his profession of faith on August 8, 1982 and was baptized on August 15, 1982 at First Baptist Church of Plano, a church he faithfully attended throughout his childhood. He was licensed as a Minister on August 20, 2017 at House of the Lord Fellowship Church where he has attended for more than 25 years, is a current Board Member, and is the the head of the Believers Education Team. He intends to live a life of faith, hope and love and encourages others on how to do the same.

Jeri Chambers has been a Homeschool Mom for over 20 years to her two daughters.  She has taught money management and counseled with hundreds of families through decades of service in the community.  She loves watching students transform through the love of God, as they become doers of His Word and not hearers only (James 1:22).
